His career spanned more than five decades as a physician, researcher, and educator, finishing his career at FIU. He was Chair of Radiology at the University of Miami and Chair and Director of the Dept. of Radiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He authored many books and articles in scientific journals.
