Horacio Aguirre

1984

In 1952 he founded of Diario Las Américas, a Spanish-language daily in Miami that would become the voice of Cuban exiles after the Castro takeover in 1959. He became president of the Interamerican Press Association and was very active in community affairs in Miami.
