Mr. Pérez is Chairman and CEO of The Related Group, which he founded in 1979. The company develops and manages apartments across the U.S. and internationally Mr. Pérez is not only a leading philanthropist but also the namesake of the Pérez Art Museum Miami, thanks to his transformative contributions to the arts. Pérez began his career as an Economic Development Director for the City of Miami. Born to Cuban parents in Argentina, he lived in Colombia prior to moving to the U.S.
