Dr. Levitan has been a significant figure in the Cuban American community spanning. She has served on the corporate board of the Art Institutes and as Chair of the Aetna Latino Advisory Council. Her leadership roles have been instrumental in promoting Hispanic art and culture, and she has received numerous awards for her community service. Her dedication to the arts and her advocacy for the Cuban American Community have made her a respected fiture in Miami and beyond. She holds a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature from Emory University and founded ArtesMiami, a leading cultural sponsor.
