Meet Jorge M. Pérez, the architect of Miami's iconic skyline. Born in Argentina to Cuban exiles, Pérez took his talents to Michigan, where he trained before immersing himself in Miami's economic development scene. He is more than a real estate mogul; he is a change agent. With his company, Related Companies, he initially focused on affordable housing projects and then became one of the world's leading developers of skyscrapers, often overseeing more than 50 projects simultaneously.
But his influence extends far beyond real estate. His philanthropic spirit is evident in his generous $30 million donation to the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Jorge M. Pérez is a man whose legacy transcends steel and concrete.
