Olga Guillot (1922-2010) was a Cuban singer known as “The Queen of Bolero.” Guillot opposed Fidel Castro’s regime early on. In 1961, she began exile in Mexico City. Her music is prohibited in Cuba.

FACE is a non-profit organization created in 1982 to promote, foster and improve the goodwill, reputation and image of those persons of Cuban origins and their descendants in the United States and the world who have sought refuge outside of Cuba due to existing political conditions. FACE also combats all forms of bigotry and discrimination.
