Alberto Muller opposed USSR’s Anastas Mikoyan’s visit to the José Martí Statue in Havana in 1960 which foreshadowed totalitarian turn of the revolution. He left Cuba & returned in 1961 to fight, enduring prison & torture, including fake executions. In exile he has penned 9 books & hundreds of articles, lately for Radio/TV Martí.
